Terms of service

Last updated: 17 June 2026

By using seqrun (the "site") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Informational and educational use only

The calculators and explainers on seqrun are provided for general informational and educational purposes. They are not a substitute for professional, clinical, or laboratory judgment. You should independently verify any result before relying on it — and in particular before using any result in a clinical, diagnostic, regulatory, or publication context. Do not make patient-care or diagnostic decisions based on this site.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or availability of the calculators or content. Formulas are simplifications and may not capture every factor relevant to your specific situation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site owner and contributors will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its results — including any errors in calculations or decisions made in reliance on them. Your use of the site is at your own risk.

Acceptable use

Please use the site reasonably. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack the site or its infrastructure; do not scrape it excessively or in a way that degrades the service for others; and do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it. Because the calculators run entirely in your browser, you are of course free to view the page source and run the tools locally for your own use.

Intellectual property

The site's design, text, and source code are the property of the site owner unless otherwise stated, and may be protected by copyright. Where a tool relies on a published method, constant, or third-party data source, that source should be attributed on the relevant page or in the documentation; such sources remain the property of their respective owners.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The last-updated date above will reflect the most recent revision.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction] (placeholder — the site owner should specify the governing jurisdiction), without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
